Anheuser-Busch has not yet learned the lesson hard enough. It needs to be a house cleaning generational lesson. They haven’t yet gotten there.

I didn’t drink it before. It tastes like watered down beer
For me Bud Lite was always too 'lite' on flavor as well

^^^This. The pain / losses need to not be temporary, else they just try again, or end up with a new batch of woke a**holes (a new "they") who do the same thing.
More and more in the American cultural wars I'm leaning toward taking heart the lessons of actual wars, especially WWII: don't just beat their forces and strategy; remove both their will and capability to fight. "Woke" is a luxury for a business. Put a squeeze on them so hard that they cannot afford it anymore, and either the business will drop the woke, or the business will disappear (and thereby stop subsidizing the woke.
That's a long term victory.
Also, I'm not going to take advice on beer brands from a teetotaler.

They need to make a big announcement that they are no longer brewing or selling any light beer. The ads will basically say that people are fooling themselves into thinking they are keeping their weight down by drinking light beer and it's basically for sissies.
If A-B went all NO-LIGHT-BEER then that might be a sign they learned their lesson.
