A little or way late. He recommended her in the first place and several times since. Another great pick on his part.
Getting a good and loyal RNC chairman is chancy at best unless you are the incumbent GOP president and can pick whom you choose. At this point, Trump has leverage but not control over the RNC. He seems to regard Rona McDaniel under his tight supervision via his campaign adviser Susie Wiles as the least bad choice.
You have no idea when was the best time for Trump to be politically able to remove Ronna.
Trump doesn't choose the RNC Chair, the 168 committee members do that.
Trump last endorsed Ronna in 2021.
If Trump wants to remove a chair, he needs to politically manuever at the right time, to get that done. If he does that at the wrong time, the current chair, who Trump must work with could sabatatoge Trump in many ways. So too could the 168 committee members who vote to choose the chair.
Without inside information it's difficult to say objectively when was the best time for Trump to move against Ronna. It's a fine political line that Trump needed to navigate.
Anyway, Trump, who is as politically strong now as he has ever been, appears to be choosing THIS time to move against Ronna.
Trump has made lots of horrible choices that didn’t show how bad they were until later .....
like the bad choice of supporting desanctus
Yeah, he should have taken advice from DeSantos.
