I’m really getting bad feelings about Ukraine. It all started during the impeachment when every slimy witness had something to do with Ukraine though their testimony was about other stuff.
Ukraine, a former Soviet Socialist Republic, with a president who declared himself president for life, well known for corruption, doesn’t seem like a place to be funneling billions upon billions of US taxpayer dollars. There is a blatant lack of transparency and accountability for all of the money already sent.
What are all of these dollars for? Do they load the bills in cannons and fire them at the enemy? Every other war had embed reporters showing the daily carnage and carrying a running tally of allies killed. We get none of that. What we do get, I don’t believe or trust.
I also find it confusing that the progressives who used to be all gung-ho for Russia and communism now shun it for “capitalist” Ukraine. Hillary praised Putin and gave him our uranium. Bernie got married there. What gives?

It’s not that black and white., not simply an unprovoked Russian war of conquest.
Fighting has went on since 2014 as the eastern territories are largely Russian speaking and wanted to secede. Ukr shelled Russian rebel towns and villages repeatedly and killed thousands of civilians, as I’m sure the rebels killed Ukrainians.
Many other articles exist from Amnesty International a NYC based human rights group. This long simmering conflict was brought to a head by Ukr plans to join NATO—-so Russia invaded.
Was it a right or wrong action? Depends what perspective you look at it from.
So, in losing the argument, you drag out tired old erroneous charges of globalism.
