If a tidal wave were to hit LA, would we consider it devine retribution for its decadence?

For the record, 8 trillion gallons of water is enough for 12 years of water for every residence in California.

If a tidal wave were to hit LA, would we consider it devine retribution for its decadence? No more so than Pittsburg or Philly. There's more than enough decadence in this country to go around.

Same problem Putin has: If he threatens to nuke American cities, half of the country will ask what he’s waiting for.

well, they took away all the gas stoves, now, when the power goes oit ...no food!
second, I wonder how the Oroville dam will be after all this?

If a tidal wave were to hit LA, would we consider it devine retribution for its decadence? A tidal wave would take out some Blue voters in Laguna Beach, Venice and Belmont Shore, but it would also take out Red voters in Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Balboa Island and Costa Mesa.

Huh! Well just over the Sierra on the east side, we got about a foot of wet snow today. We’re about 5,200 elev. Down in town (4,500 ft?) the roads are wet but not snow packed. Might get icy later. Lucky we got no place to go for now.

It was super duper windy today. Im a few miles north of SF. The wind whistled, moaned and shrieked.
Almost tropical in style. a warm storm.
So glad I didn’t need to drive today.

California: where the weather is perfect, until it decides to kill you.
The idea of mudslides terrifies me!
I pray to the Lord to protect the people of California, and elsewhere, from this dangerous weather. It sounds like it is pretty bad already.

south of sacto with nasty gusts, mostly warm, losing many branches, no trees. Had to walk with a heavy lean this afternoon. Right now, howling outside, glad the walls are not moving!

Stay safe and don’t fly any kites yet. Mother Nature will kick a hole in it, or snatch it away from you.
