The reported appearance of former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in the Russian capital has sparked intense speculation over the purpose of the conservative media personality's visit to Moscow.
Carlson arrived in Moscow on February 1, and was spotted attending the Bolshoi Theater in the capital, according to Russian outlet Mash.
Questions quickly swirled over why the TV anchor would have traveled to Moscow, and whether he intended to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin during the visit.

Deny that you like it and stipulate that it shouldn't be created or dispersed, ... or own it and wear it.
Your choice.
Is he going to convert to Islam while he is there?
Nope, sorry. He’s your guy.
… he’s a flamer, dancing along to the sacrifice of Ukrainians.
(Ouch!)
(He will get used by Putin.)
How? Give specifics!
OK, but I reserve the right to say "I Told You So".
I never watch online video, so somebody will have to fill me in. Does he post transcripts?
Of course, the flip-side is that if the West had stayed out, Russia would have been easily destroyed by Nazi Germany.
I, personally, view WWII as the War to Save Communism. Hitler and Mussolini did not spring to life on a vacuum. Fascism was Europe’s response to the Russian Revolution of 1917. A lot of people realized they didn’t like the idea of waking up to their throats being slit.
In a sense, you are right that Hitler probably wouldn’t have stopped with Russia, and the West would have faced a much more formidable adversary.
But the cost of how it went down was the Soviet Union. I wonder how different the results would have been.
Both World Wars, should have just be reduced to fighting between Germany, Russia and Japan.

You sure are right about WW1. Had the UK and the United States stayed neutral, the world would be a far different and far better place today.
Given that Hitler and Tojo were infinitely worse than Wilhelm II, neutrality in WW2 would have been an error. But, hey. Had WW1 turned out differently, there would have been no WW2!
I’d simply like to hear Putin present his side of the argument. I don’t “need” the corporate media to “filter” what I hear just as I don’t “need” Academia to “filter” what I should think about history.
I’ll look at the primary sources directly and decide for myself.
Thanks.
What are you basing that on? Tucker reports substantively almost every day. I really enjoyed his recent interview with Russell Brand, for instance. I suppose you also feel that Brand doesn’t cover “real”(ie-government-approved) news.
That’s because he’s a decent intelligent man. Also, he intensely dislikes corruption.
Tucker in Moscow barely moves my “Who gives AF” meter.
I would be impressed if he could get Biden to go on his show. That’s not happening. LOL
It’s all about the clicks.
Britain and France couldn’t handle the fact that there was a new kid on the block, when Germany united in 1871.
Save a seat for me.

ROFWL - and Putin is so not corrupt!!!! /sarc
Tucker interviewing Brand?
Commentators interviewing other commentators is just mutual masturbation. It’s the same when I see Fox or CNN referring to each other.
It’s not news.
I like Brand. I think he is funny. But it’s entertainment, like Lenny Bruce or George Carlin. I don’t need to see him being “set up” by another person.
To each his own.
He does a great jopb analyzing the news. It is just because Zeepers don’t agree with him on the stupid Biden war in Ukraine that they insult and complain about him.
Interviewing a well known person is not a endorsement of that person. It is enlightening though.
So have I. I am against our involment of any kind in that war.
