My yeti stainless steel 30 oz tumbler with Lilly Pulitzer printing has faded so I thought I would buy one of the Stanley cups. I have small hands and can only hold the yeti with two hands so when I saw the Stanley cup had a handle, I thought it was a great idea. Not paying $40 so ordered a knockoff one from Temu for about $10- on the website, not the app.
Anyhoo, I read one of the Target employees’ mother’s had breast cancer and she bought one of the pink ones and got let go.
I bought a no brand stainless steel cup at Walmart for $2.00 on clearance. I have some others including a Yeti. They are no better or worse.
The Yeti I got for free. I work for a building products manufacturer and was at a large trade show. Yeti was there and the rep came over and asked for some of our product to do a repair on his house in exchange for a Yeti cup.
Sure. A large part of my job is giving away samples and free stuff is a little benefit of trade shows.
You know all the candy and beef jerky at hardware stores? The shows have several aisles of that stuff. I load up my road food stash.
I have a Yeti w/handle, and, bought the Stanley 40 oz w/handle, a while back, to not have to fill up, during the day, if out and about.
Honestly....I prefer the (smaller) Yeti w/handle, as is is less cumbersome/heavy.
The knock offs are better looking and work just as well, imo.
Too bad they’re ALL Made in ChyNah :-(
