Ha, ha ... I bought one of those for my 5-year-old grandson last Christmas. When he plugged it in, it began to smoke and eventually something melted in the base. Then the globe fell off and rolled away.
I think that’s what the greenies are afraid of...smoke, the base melting and then BOOM! the globe falls off and rolls away. sound all sciency and stuff.
