Wow...I had previously heard good things about Nichelle Nichols. Gil Gross interviewed her on radio many years ago...she had some kind words for Shatner.
A lot of the other actors got jealous when he quickly emerged as the “star” of the show. Ankle biters....
I had a brief chat with her after a DragonCon panel as everyone was leaving.
Struck as nothing but classy and very personable.
She was impressed that we remembered “Captain Zoom”.
