Story from late 2022.

Parents are requesting Glenbard School District 87 remove obscene books from the school districts libraries.

One parent Cedra Censhaw, a one-time State Senate candidate, tore into school board embers for supporting the inclusion of graphic sexual novels in the district’s libraries.

Upon seeing a presentation board filled with graphic sexual imagery from the books at question Crenshaw had created to accompany her comments school board members tried to dissuade her from speaking.

“I haven’t even started yet,” Crenshaw said to the board. Two board members chimed in.

“No, no, no. I just. If this is about books, I. I see the titles on books that I've been reading. And so I just wanted to make sure that we're on agenda items,” Board President Margaret DeLaRosa of Glen Ellyn said.

Crenshaw muscled through the interruptions.

Cedra was a local Republican candidate for the Illinois State Senate, years ago.

A few times during the Trump Admin., I tried to bring her to the attention of President Trump, but I do not know if I succeeded - I suspect, not.

Anyway, I am trying again. I know about her, only from the information herein. She sounds smart and conservative

This is a cute name for a church: “Crenshaw’s comments were pointed at James E. Shannon of Glen Ellyn, who is a pastor at Peoples Community Church in Glen Ellyn.”

Using the Marxist Dog Whistle Term: “Peoples”, you know the same term that idiots who STILL send their kids to public school see on the cover of their kids’ history book “A Peoples History of the United States”, which does nothing but bash the US, so it’s the Number 1 ‘history’ book in our schools.

Anyway, it’s clever to be able to able for a Marxist to be able to claim being a Pastor, as it’s likely how he got that job, allowing him to destroy our children.

I've been thinking about this and everyone get clear because my brain is storming :D

Our local library has come under fire about this same situation. I will be attending the next meeting.

The librarian is freaking out because as she informed the council the law firm will sue on first amendment rights and they probably would win she says and along with the fines that they'd have to pay the legal fees.

First of all. This is extortion. Do as say or....you may have to pay money.

Since when do minor children have first amendment rights above and beyond their parents permission? It's the parents' right to choose what their minor children are being introduced to. No one has the right to usurp the parents until those minors turn 18.

The second thing.

Who are they representing? I want names. Who hired you people or you just showed up on your own? If you are representing a minor or two then how did you contract with a minor without their parents permission. If they parents gave permission and you have a name read on.

If and that's a big if minor children are able to look at pornography then can we place bomb making literature next to it? What about how to make your own alcohol? Meth? Can we put those directions there as well? You're saying they have rights to literature that you agree with but not what I may agree with because I'm sure I'd love my child to learn how to make bombs. It may come in handy one day.

I would think that those children have the first amendment rights to all of what I just described and probably much more.

If there are exceptions to the rules....there are no rules.
