As discussed in this thread most economic forecasters are wrong most of the time.

That is why I make fun of this whole topic.

At this point Armstrong is getting old and frail—the guy looks like he could croak at any time—so I have trouble getting that upset about him.

The new generation of young fraudsters are a real long term problem.

This is an amusing focus for some. The "Armstrong" YouTuber is amusing in of himself. YouTube tells:

YouTube -- "About"

Two videos in 2 years and three months. The web blog is also interesting:
armstrongecmscam.blogspot.com

"I AM the AUTHOR of this site. Effectively, because I have written 90% of the content of it and I control the content of it." But who is "he?" Doesn't put his name to the blogs, based on a cursory look.

Blogging since Wednesday 29 May 2019, well over four and a half years, but generating only forty-two posts throughout that period. Averaging about one a month. If those reading his stuff are as numerous as those subscribing to his YouTube channel, he is one lonely puppy.
Detail: Blog archive: March 2023 (1), October 2022 (1), July 2022 (2), September 2021 (1), September 2020 (1), August 2020 (2), May 2020 (2), April 2020 (1), March 2020 (6), February 2020 (5), January 2020 (2), December 2019 (7), September 2019 (2), August 2019 (1), July 2019 (8), June 2019 (1), May 2019 (1)
So what's the deal? Before the posts and comments about Armstrong, I'd not heard about him. Sounds like all the other "financial advisors" from the fly-by-night to Goldman Sachs. They make money when the public engages with them, and foretell some future.

What's with the enthusiasm to sell "future" financial events (for a fee), future temperatures and weather (for a fee and lobbying for taxes), results of coming 'this and that?"

Seems like Armstrong and some chappy going by "armstrongecmscam" are busy with "notice me." As are WEF and Al Gore and the Democrat Party and the UN and....

Since quoting scripture might be sometimes apt: "Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save." Psalm 146:3. Probably good advice.
