You’re right. My cousin’s wife said pretty much the same thing. She said she would never not vote Democrat. Because she’s always voted Democrat. She didn’t want to hear issues.
That’s the patrons of a couple of blue-collar bars right across the WV-PA state line are. I would visit them when I’d go fishing up that way with some friends. Fetterman’s their hero (He looks just like me!) and they are unionistas in all things!
There is some cognative dissonance there but I think for some they vote for one not because they are a fan of one but rather posess a vitrioloc hatred for the alternative.
