What DeWit leaves out is that (reported elsewhere) he requested to meet Lake in person because it was something he didn't want to discuss over the phone. Unless its a family member, that right there is a potential red flag.

But its Lake whi can't be trusted? Sort of dovetails into the latest O'Keefe expose of (potentially compromised) legislators being given slips of paper telling them how to vote, or McConnell supposedly putting up that horrendous immigration bill. Yeah, for sure the latter can be trusted.

People like this guy remind me of so many people that I worked with, and for, over the years. Not that they were all corrupt, it’s just that smarmy, self-promoting phoniness that makes my skin crawl. I retired two years ago (had to pull the eject handle to avoid the “vax” mandate), but my LinkedIn account is still active, so I’m constantly getting updates from those in my contacts list. The constant parade of people in that feed who are just competing with each other to spout the greatest volume of inane corporate buzzwords is ridiculous. It’s non-stop gibberish that has approximately zero actual substance. A constant stream of insincere congrats for meaningless made-up awards, “achievements” with no intrinsic value other their ability to boost the image of that person in the minds of equally vapid corporate drones, bragging about their “certification” in the latest management fad, and of course all manner of babbling about various aspects of wokeness.

I just shake my head at the absurdity of it all, then sit back and thank God once again that I am retired and no longer have to be around soulless people like that.
