I tend to forget about it myself. :)
I am not really in poverty, that was an exaggeration, say poetic license, but I am far from being in a confident financial position. That’s my doing, I made my choices in life. But it is definitely further from a position of comfort now than it was a year and a half ago.

Comfortable or not I suspect most of us are seeing a financial reduction and we all know why and we know it didn’t have to happen.
Ironically, my husband and I are earning more now than ever but inflation is just killing us. Groceries, gas, utilities, etc. are way up.
Our habits haven’t changed, the economy has.
