Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky mocked former President Donald Trump’s insistence that Trump would end the war on day one of his presidency.
“Donald Trump, I invite you to Ukraine, to Kyiv,” said Zelensky during an interview Friday with British Channel 4 News. ”So if you can stop the war during 24 hours, I think it will be enough to come.”
Zelensky’s statements come has he continues to push U.S. Congress for additional funding of the war with Russia.
Congress has already sent at least $113 billion to Ukraine since the start of its war with Russia in February of 2022. The Biden Administration has requested another $106 billion aid package, with $61 billion of it designated specifically for Ukraine.

I just got back from Ukraine, where I was visiting some friends. Everything we have heard about what’s happening in Ukraine is a lie. The reality is darker, bleaker, and unequivocally hopeless. There is no such thing as Ukraine “winning” this war. By their estimates, they have lost over one million of their sons, fathers and husbands; an entire generation is gone. Even in the Southwest, where the anti-Russian sentiment is long-standing, citizens are reluctant or straight-up scared to publicly criticize Zelensky; they will go to jail.
– In every village and town, the streets, shops, and restaurants are mostly absent of men. – The few men who remain are terrified of leaving their homes for fear of being kidnapped into conscription. Some have resorted to begging friends to break their legs to avoid service.– Army search parties take place early in the morning, when men leave their homes to go to work. They ambush and kidnap them off the streets and within 3-4 hours they get listed in the army and taken away straight to the front lines with minimal or no training at all; it is “a death sentence.”
– It’s getting worse every day. Where I was staying, a dentist had just been taken by security forces on his way to work, leaving behind two small children. Every day, 3-5 dead bodies keep arriving from the front lines.– Mothers and wives fight tooth and nail with the armed forces, beg and plead not to have their men taken away. They try bribing, which sometimes works, but most of the time they are met with physical violence and death threats.– The territory celebrated as having been “won back” from Russia has been reduced to rubble and is uninhabitable. Regardless, there is no one left to live there and displaced families will likely never return. – They see the way the war has been reported, at home and abroad. It’s a “joke” and “propaganda.” They say: “Look around: is this winning?”.
– Worse, some have been hoaxed into believing that once Ukrainians forces are exhausted, American soldiers will come in to replace them and “win the war”. There is no ambiguity in these people. The war was for nothing – a travesty. The outcome always was, and is, clear. The people are hopeless, utterly destroyed, and living in an unending nightmare. In their minds, they have already lost, for their sons, fathers and husbands are gone, and their country has been destroyed. There is no “victory” that can change that. Make no mistake, they are angry with Putin. But they are also angry with Zelensky and the West.
They have lost everything, worst of all, hope and faith, and cannot comprehend why Zelensky wishes to continue the current trajectory, the one of human devastation. I didn’t witness the war; but what I saw was absolutely heart-breaking. Shame on the people, regardless of their intentions, who have supported this war. And shame on the media for continuing to lie about it.

There is a report today that Russia has made significant progress in capturing Avdeevka:
As a result of an unexpected attack, the Russians broke through the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the southern outskirts of Avdiivka. In a few hours, the Russians managed to cover several kilometers and enter the central part of the city. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are retreating in a decentralized manner in the north, in the direction of the chemical plant, which increases the risk for individual units of being surrounded.
At this point it does not matter whether the U.S. Congress approves Biden’s request to send Ukraine $61 billion. Ukraine lacks the one thing it needs to remain a viable threat on the front — trained, experienced troops.

Trump should total up and expose all his assets and tell him if he wants more cash, Trump can auction them off for him.
Biden wants the war in Ukraine to continue with Zelinskii at its head. My calculated guess is that Biden has been sending over to Ukraine our taxpayers dollars and in return Zelinskii and his oligarchy, making millions off of this war, is sending kickbacks to Biden so that he can maintain his family and his own lavish lifestyle.
Hunter no longer can channel large amounts of money to the Biden Crime Family through bribes for access to Biden from our foreign enemies. He is broke and being watched. Plus his “art” graft scheme brings in a piddling sum as compared to Hunter’s heyday when he raked in millions of dollars for the Family. So, how does Joe and his corrupt family maintain their lifestyle?
Through kickbacks of our tax dollars sent to Ukraine, facilitated by Zelenskii and returned to the Biden family by illicit means. Probably through off-shore accounts. Keeping the Biden Crime Family in the money (our money). Old Joe wants the Ukraine war to never end.

The president warned congressional Republicans wavering on Ukraine: Provide aid now or send U.S. troops to fight Russia when Putin acts against NATO.
“We’ll have something that we don’t seek and that we don’t have today: American troops fighting Russian troops,” Biden said evenly.

President Joe Biden delivered his sternest warning yet to congressional Republicans balking at approving more aid to Ukraine: Pay up now or you’ll pay more later, forced to send U.S. troops to fight Russian soldiers when an emboldened Russian President Vladimir Putin moves in on a NATO member country.
“Congress needs to pass supplemental funding for Ukraine before they break for the holiday. It’s as simple as that,” Biden said at the White House as the GOP-led House mulled Biden’s request for $106 billion in emergency spending, including foreign aid.
“Frankly, I think It’s stunning we have gotten to this point in the first place. Republicans in Congress are willing to give Putin the greatest gift he could hope for and abandon our global leadership,” Biden said.
Noting that underdog Ukraine has managed to hang on for nearly two years after the Russian invasion of its western neighbor, Biden said, “We can’t let Putin win.” If the autocratic Russian leader succeeds in vanquishing Ukraine, he may well continue his aggression to include a NATO member country, triggering the security alliance rule that demands other NATO countries come to its defense.
“If Putin takes Ukraine, he won’t stop there,” Biden warned.
And then, “We’ll have something that we don’t seek and that we don’t have today: American troops fighting Russian troops,” Biden said evenly.
