I didn’t think the Bidum Boil would make it thru 2023. Fooled me! Now my cutoff is this February. If he hasn’t left/quit/died before next month is over the damage will not be fixable. And I will go into magnum prepper mode. Since I’m 600 gallons of motor fuel away from the beltway I can’t do much to clean up the beltway but I can go “eyes more wide open” locally.
Good thinking. Since I moved to my rural locale several years ago, I’ve been busily making friends with all the local farmers, do-it-yourselfers of all kinds, etc. My nephew and his family raise chickens for eggs, and my Sis is the most gifted gardener I know. Wish I had the resources to have a water well dug, but as long as it’s available in the stores, I can buy and put aside 1 or 2 extras at a time, and at least be in better shape than city dwellers when their metropolitan water goes bye-bye.
