Defamed the idiot?

Tell that to the media that reported all that, she should never have been hired and the young fool was no match for Balwin’s dominance and others who she should have dominated when it came to her job responsibilities.

He admitted killing her. He’s using a technicality when he says “I didn’t pull the trigger.” He did say that he pulled back the thumb cock and then let it drop. That has the exact same effect as pulling the trigger.

The public attention to this case makes it hard for the judge and prosecutors to go easy on him. If convicted, Baldwin seems likely to get some jail time as a demonstration of the seriousness of his misconduct and that celebrity is not a basis for leniency even though other factors like age, lack of prior criminal record, and family obligations do argue for a relatively light sentence.

“you never point any gun at something you don’t want to destroy”
These actors know the rule, except the idiots.
Remember the idiot that discharged a 44 mag blank into his chest? He died.
They never aim directly at people in movies with real functioning guns, run by people that know about guns.
It is all smoke and mirrors( and editing) to make it look like they did.

Baldwin is an arrogant, snobbish, bully, who thinks he’s elite. A leftist hack, who let his ego outweigh whatever bit of common sense he may have once had.
They should throw the book at him, as his carelessness caused someone to be killed.
Anyone handling firearms should know better.

This is very boring. She needs jail time. So does Alec. So does the other guy who said it was safe.

Definitely B. Involuntary manslaughter

“act which might produce death in an unlawful manner or without due caution and circumspection.”

or “without due caution and circumspection.”

NO caution, NO circumspection.

He just pointed a REAL GUN directly at her and fired!

NO caution, just pointed the gun right at her. Didn’t check to see if the gun was loaded.

NO circumspection, he didn’t consider that pointing a REAL gun right at her might be dangerous. He didn’t consider that not checking the gun for live ammunition might be reckless. He didn’t consider that pointing a REAL gun at another human being and pulling the trigger, might be a reckless act.

He’ll be convicted. (he will get a plea deal to some lesser charge)

He’ll get deferred adjudication.

He’ll get probation with conditions.

After he successfully completes probation, the felony will be wiped from his record.

No need for special treatment. This is what happens to most felons every day.

I must sadly agree with this.
