Why the driver didn’t back off once he saw the snow plow showed he’s an absolute moron. He decided to still try to pass. Dumbo.
Too many people are really that dumb. Otherwise, why would highways have posted signs saying don’t pass snowplows on the right? It’s kind of like saying don’t eat yellow snow.
Take excessive amounts of speed, drive at excessive amounts of speed for a challenger to become a Camaro as one hits the dozer blades.
That’s the best I can come up with.
Not only a Subaru, but a WRX. Most WRX drivers a a-holes.

Maybe he has set himself a personal challenge to win a Darwin Award.
The road is curved where you can’t see around another vehicle.
These are always (usually?) marked with two double lines for no passing.
In any case, can’t see around the truck? Don’t pass.
Stupid as stupid does.
The snow creamed it... the semi that was being passed might have gotten a piece of that too.
Yep....
When at first you don’t succeed, try, try again!
Why is it always a Subaru?

What’s up with Subaru drivers being obnoxious douches these days?
If they aren’t driving 5mph under the speed limit or blocking the passing lanes, they are driving like jerks and trolls.
About 5 years ago it used to be honda drivers that were like that, but they have definitely passed to torch to the subaru generation who have kicked it up a few driving troll notches
Well I wouldn’t call that a “head on”... car was struck on the side... seen a few head ons, they are nasty.
However, this wasn’t due to speed, this was due to someone thinking they had enough room to pass and didn’t... Road could have been perfectly dry and likely had the same result.
Yep, that’s a glancing blow... back seat driver side passenger if their was one, was going to be very messed up, but driver and other passengers probably survived.
This was just misjudging how much distance they had and needed to pass... Witness some head one, this one I wouldn’t put into a head on.
Yeah, we knew that.

Had something similar happen in my neck of the woods last year. An impatient driver likely caused 5 deaths passing an ammonia truck on the outskirts of a small town..
reckless/ignorant driving, four wheel drive makes some people stooopid...
I am not a WRX owner but my screen name suggests I have a similar car. That said, I find the most obnoxious drivers of mid power cars to be BMW 330 series owners that have similar HP.
I used to drive on the snow a lot, and was good at it. But it has been many years since I have driven on snow, so I’m going to stay home if it snows. We don’t get a lot of snow here, but occasionally we do.
Yes. The End of the Road.
