My friends Biden is not the problem. Any house member in this group who wants to continue in office needs to be given a what-for. Those in deep blue states and districts like Susan Collins can be given a pass but those in red districts? No one primary challenge to Kevin McCarthy and there has been no primary yet this year. The alternative to Collins is another Angus King. Where are the others? I can throw rocks at the rest of you from my deep blue district of Calif. I'll do it because your reps are not feeling the heat.

I don't know most of these 180+ reps. I'll leave it to you to point out you win reps' foibles.

As Florida, Ohio, and Iowa turn more red it’s only appropriate for the legislators follow the lead of Trump and DeSantis. They haven’t got the memo and it’s like Hillary sticking with Bill. Who else is out there? Ms. Huma?

You want party line purity and discipline in an Amicus Brief? This is just a pbulicity stunt. A couple of clerks will be assigned to read through it and see if there is anything of weight and merit in it that the Justices need to contemplate. Otherwise, it is irrelevant to the question before the SC and the number of signators is utterly irrelevant, and in fact might even be viewed in a negative light as trying to pressure the justices rather than persuade the justices with a strong convincing argument not raised by the parties.

I have to say I’m surprised that Virginia Foxx is not on the list.

There is a fundamental problem here. Whether you like Trump or not, by preventing him running you are establishing a precedent. Banning a person from a ballot just because we don't like that person is very foolish and might very well destroy this country.

For example: should Biden be removed from the ballot? There is more evidence of corruption than Trump.

There is a bigger issue here than your hatred of Trump. The future of the United States is at stake and if this continues then half the states will ban one candidate an the other half will ban the other and where does that get us? Probably civil war.

Correct. This could be a precedent fraught with peril. This piece has some more detail, one of which is merely time constraints.

Oh please. Whether they show support of Trump in any manner does not mean Trump won’t attack them for any perceived slight. (hello Ron DeSantis)
Welcome to the art of the deal or how a yuge ego will drive behavior, don’t be surprised. I will vote for Trump - he better drive them all into the ground; but, his M.O. is to lay off for some reason (i.e. Hitlery).

Regardless of the outcome in November, CWII is a distinct possibility.

If Biden 'wins', MAGAts will assume it is due to ballot/voter role manipulation and will not accept the results.

If Trump wins then the DemonRatz will throw a hissy fit (again) requiring police action.

Is anyone predicting a peaceful transfer of power?

I can think of no justifiable reason for not signing this amici petition supporting the reversal of the corrupt Colorado court ruling. If the Court doesn’t overrule the Colorado Court, it could be the end of Trump - so outlandish and unnecessary.

You are precisely correct. This should be given precisely zero significance

Come on. You know as well as I that if the tables were turned the rats would do the same and they would be 100% united.
Does Russian Collusion ring a bell? Or the 100% impeachment vote? Go ahead turn the other cheek.

We may have direct evidence of manipulation of Democrats remove Trump from ballots.

Very true. And the “DemonRatz” will get a pass like in 2020.

At one point we could come together and agree on what is bad vs good. We could have a conversation. There may be some Democrats who are still sane. But they are silent.

There is a larger issue here — we need to be united as a country if there is some major event in the world. It will take all of our resources and commitment. Every last American. If we are fighting among ourselves then we may be caught flat footed and we will get our asses kicked. Heck we will probably get our asses kicked anyway with all of the DEI stupidity in the military.

What Biden doesn't realize in his shortsightedness is that when you come across as hating, yes hating, a large percentage of the population is that large population won't be there when you need them. Is he a fool? Or maybe he just takes us for granted that we will fall in line when the time comes. Hating MAGA, hating whites, hating Christians, hating men,... is extremely divisive. And divisive is not at all good if things get really bad.
