I was just listening to the Wayne Allyn Root show on Las Vegas local station, KMZQ-AM. Root just advised that the Black National Anthem will be played at the Super Bowl next month, Feb. 11th, in Las Vegas.
There should only be one national anthem. The Star Spangled Banner.
They have a culture?
“The only positions where whites are in or close to a majority is the O Line.”
Quarterback. 14 black QBs started the season, most ever, but that’s out of 32 QBs.
I will return to watching sports when a hundred bagpipes are on the 50 yard line, and I am allowed to shout my Irish heritage:
Drunk last night. Drunk the night before,
Gonna get drunk tonight like I never been drunk before
For when I’m drunk I’m as happy as can be
For I am a member of the Irish family
(there are many, many more versus, and versions)
Same here...all pro sports EXCEPT for Hockey I find tiresome .
Another reason not to watch this crap.
I was at Super Bowl 1 and never again.
I think they should sing the 4th stanza of the “Star Spangled Banner”:
Oh! Thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand,
Between their loved homes and the war’s desolation,
Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the Heav’n-rescued land,
Praise the Pow’r that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, for our cause is just,
And this be our motto – “In God is our trust.”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave,
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Darn it. I thought the NFL was starting to get away from woke.
Never. They and almost all entities want to create so much hate so that we don’t notice their corruption. So far their plans are working. New feudalism is what they want and appear to be getting.
Where is the Black Nation?
Them = The
If I still watched, I guess I would just take a knee.
So post-Illegal Alien Invasion will they be playing the Brown National Anthem at the Suopa Bowel?
Hispanic fans need to bring their own mariachis to play their anthem.
Just another Super Bowl I will not be watching.
Does a Black National Anthem imply black nationalists?
Frankly, lots of songs are performed at Super Bowl. The song in question is better than many that have been performed in the past. However, it seems that the whole point of this stunt is to be racially divisive.
That never went away. They were just hiding it. I haven't watched sports since Colon Kraperdick started the kneeling.
great..the Detroit Lions finally make it to the Super Bowl and i gotta put up with this nonsense...
What is this “Black national anthem”. Camptown races?
“...they want the best. . .
Who wants the best. Did you happen to notice there are no majority owners of any NFL team? AS of September of 2022, and despite the fact that about 60 percent of the players in the NFL are black, only 3 of the current 32 head coaches (9 percent) are African American.
The NFL draft serves as the “final exam” to measure each team’s scouting acumen. Teams draw from thousands of scouting reports, medical evaluations and personal interactions and behavior to decide which players can turn around a struggling franchise or fill in gaps to make a good team into an exceptional one.
Before teams get a shot at drafting players, NFL Football Operations must verify players’ eligibility. This means compiling background information on every player entering the draft in one central database — an exhaustive process that calls for the Football Operations team to review applicable college teams’ media guides and contact coaches and administrators to verify information. Only after the research is conducted can the NFL draft process begin in earnest.
The draft provides a chance for about 250 of the nation’s finest athletes to live out the dream they’ve been preparing for all their young lives: a chance to play in the NFL. Seven rounds of selections and an additional 32 compensatory picks awarded to select teams determine who has made the grade.
Tens of thousands of college players are left on the outside looking in. Those players left undrafted don’t need to abandon their NFL dreams. Thanks to the league’s legion of scouting events and player development programs, athletes will have networked with personnel and can still land on a team’s training camp roster or practice squad. But remember, those numbers are already set so the chances are more than limited.
These young men have won the lottery, right? Well, not quite yet. Having already been in the select 0.01% of the top 1.6% of the top 7.3% of the nation, the chosen players might be dismayed to learn that only 30% of those drafted will ever make it onto an NFL roster in the league and with time with possibly short term contracts to fill gaps till someone else is traded for or the original gets healthy.

In 2020, 49 rookies started in week 1 rosters with 32 teams. That’s the same number for 2019. And this was for all the parts of the teams: offense, defense, punt, kickoff, and hands teams at an average. That’s less than 2% of the first year players for all those slots. Make sure you finish your degree.
