Regular use of these techniques by what is called the “mainstream media” shows why they are actually the “propaganda media”. We should stop giving them the respect that the title “mainstream media” gives them. If we do not wish to be inflammatory, we could call them the establishment media or something similar.
I prefer “propaganda media.” It would be very interesting to keep a running total of all the different techniques that we see in many so-called news shows, but definitely in the commentary shows.
