How long will the volcano stay dormant?

It already happened once. What makes us think it will not again?

On April 29, 1992, the United States experienced a mini civil war in which more than sixty people were killed in armed conflict, and 2,300 were wounded. Live television recorded the event, clips of which are available on YouTube. Other, even more dramatic scenes depicted full-fledged gun battles on the streets of Los Angeles, California.

The location was an urban section known as Korea Town. Rioting and looting were sparked when a young black man was arrested for the violent robbery of a Korean-American business. Over a period of a week, mob violence increased. The targets included people of all races, and law enforcement authorities soon lost control of the situation.

When it became clear to the Koreans, many of whom were first-generation immigrants, that the local and federal agencies were not going to arrive in time to rescue them, the Koreans exercised their Second Amendment rights and fought back.

To their credit, the defenders acted with surprising restraint, holding their ground and firing warning shots when possible, but making it clear that if the attackers would not retreat, they would likely be killed in the combat.

Nor was it only the local Koreans who responded. As word of the desperate situation got out, additional Koreans, many of them military veterans, some of them combat-experienced, arrived to support their kindred. After about a week, government law enforcement, augmented by U.S. military forces, restored order. By then, many millions of dollars in property damage had been suffered, about half in Korea Town.

While on the surface this appears to have been a race war, that characterization is misleading. In the years since 1992, there have been many racially motivated riots in many cities, in which looting...

At last, some state legislatures, and some local sheriffs, are beginning to openly resist federal authorities. Texas is establishing controls to resist illegal immigration, even physically forbidding Border Patrol agents from interfering.

Watch what happens if an election is allowed in November. Think Bundy Ranch to the 10th power.

Having visited the Korean DMZ and having gotten to know a Korean-American guy who served in the Korean Army (artillery) I can assure Freepers that Koreans are *not* cowards and will fight you relentlessly!

It’s not a civil war if the Army is only on one side. That’s called a slaughter.

I have always taken the position that none of the outrages of the central government could lead patriots to anything other than slaughter AS LONG AS THE ARMY WAS ON THE SIDE OF THE GOVERNMENT and the chain of command remained undivided.

I’ve never seen a CW II scenario that was even slightly plausible until I read about Mary McCord trying to organize #resistance among the officer corps in the event that Trump was inaugurated. Given the changing composition of the officer corps and the drastic falloff in white male enlistments, together with the way the Deep State reacted to Trump 1.0, I can EASILY see refusal to propagate lawful orders along the chain of command, appointment of an unconfirmed SECDEF with some commands loyal to the legal Executive and some to Obama (PLEASE stop the “Biden did this” posts) leading to open warfare around DC and at the ports.

My thoughts exactly.
We know that should Trump win in November, there will be violence.
And, a good many folks strongly feel that the favor should be returned should our corrupt media and government manage to cheat their way into another win.
The left has taught us that they WILL (and have) used violence. What’s good for them is good for us...we’re fed up with the bull-Obama that oozes from their corrupt lips.
So, there will be most probably be violence following the election. Sad, but true.

Lame.

The writer takes some of the worst examples of violence and then attempts (poorly) to extrapolate that into a national powder-keg.

I’m willing to wager all comers:

1) There will be a Presidential Election held on 11/05/2024

2) A President-Elect will be sworn in on 01/20/2025

The difference between 1992 and 2024 is that no major American city allows for citizens to defend themselves in a similar manner.

” Rioting and looting were sparked when a young black man was arrested for the violent robbery of a Korean-American business”

NOT how I remember it.

i remember tv stations playing a highly edited video of a large black guy getting a beat down after attacking some cops.

Playing it over and over and over again until they got the riot they wanted.
OWO, the TV networks incited a riot. Still at it today.

Officers may roll over for the regime, but before any orders are carried out they have to get them through the non-coms first.

The sergeants have the keys to the arms lockers and the motorpools and have -by far- the biggest influence over the enlisted men.

My guess is that any attempt to use US troops against Americans would result in about the same results as in 1860: 1/3 would obey, 1/3 would desert, and 1/3 would go over to the other side.

I agree with your breakdown.

This is the only way to put two opposing armies in the field on our territory, they are warning us right now that that is EXACTLY what they are going to do, and Team Trump had better be ready.

Here's some helpful language:

"Whereas the laws of the United States have been, for some time past, and at the present and now, are opposed, and the execution thereof obstructed, in the states of Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and others by combinations too powerful to be suppressed by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, or by the powers vested in the Marshals by law, therefore, I, Donald John Trump, President of the United States, in virtue of the power in me vested by the Constitution and the laws, have thought fit to call forth, and hereby do call forth the militia of the several states, of the Union, to the aggregate number of seventy five thousand, in order to suppress said combinations, and to cause the laws to be duly executed".

This may be what it is going to take. Are they getting ready?

I am a retired Army Field Grade Officer. Every officer serves at the pleasure of the President and can be fired or brought up on charges in a heartbeat by the President. He can also recall to active duty retired or released officers for the purpose of legal action like courts martial proceedings. Officers who cross the President take a very serious risk.

I remember it well because I was there along with about a thousand other Border Patrol Agents. We came from San Diego, El Centro and the now closed Livermore Sector.

The problem was they did not deploy us for 3 days. By then LA was a smoldering ruin.

We could have been there and deployed in 3 hours and made a significant difference but the DOJ leadership failed to issue the order. I think they just wanted it to burn.

A lot of people and property was lost as a result.

Is it really an election if it is rigged?

Election year. Bush HW was President, and the corrupt media-lie system was manipulating the "news" in an effort to rev up black voter turnout and to make people hate Bush.

And they pulled the same stunt in 2020. It is no coincidence that the media-liars ginned up black outrage in 2020, because that too was an election year, and they had to create the illusion that Trump was unpopular.
