I’m torn between did the Commies of the 1940’s and 1950’s start these liberal movements to destroy the country or did the Commies of the 1960’s steal these liberal movements to destroy the country.

They are the same. The Frankfurt school exported the first generation of intellectuals to the US in the 1940s, and their heirs started infiltrating our institutions starting in the 1960s.
