That was a parallel scientific revelation and castigation effect for sure. Additionally as the story narrative developed Sally Hemings became the most exclusively single illiterate heroine and historical figure to ever obscure the entire French Revolution retroactively by modern woke revisionists. At least that knowledge is good for a question answered on an advanced placement test or something—not.

The smoke signal given by his habit should be considered too.
Did he always smoke alone etc... Did his cigarette brand name package mark the spot?

I think Hemmings was also like 12 years when she had any association with TJ.

Don’t forget allegations he like to place dungeon master on white women

Wonder if he learned that at the Highland School of how to get white people to be stupider

Like Reagan said when he had to sign despite opposing it

The myth becomes the reality

Like homosexual men can actually be women

Martin can actually be a saint

The Code Noir as used by the French King had different restrictions on slave ownership and other permitted activity.
The Spanish King required a “convert” status, also.
Thomas Jefferson didn’t practice Catholicism or so I’ve been told.

Did the FBI tap and tape lines between Rev Wright, Soetoro, and Young? I bet they did....

If all the descendents are Peter’s, I don’t think Thomas is off the hook.

True, but TJ didn’t have a local reputation as a diddler of the help, Peter did!

” I am open to an even-handed biography on MLK if such a thing exists.”

Excellent post.

I read very widely—and I have never found such a book.

Today it would be banned by Amazon.

The FBI wiretap of MLK was primarily caused because one of his top aides was an avowed member of the Communist Party—and J. Edgar Hoover was convinced (rightly or wrongly—hard to tell) that the Russians were seeking to gain control of MLK as an “agent of influence”.

Ironically this is the same “logic” the FBI uses to infiltrate and wiretap Trump supporters today.

COINTELPRO has a new (top secret) name these days—but the tactics remain the same.

If anyone is unfamiliar with it they will be stunned by the details.

Then we get to the MLK assassination—at this point members of the MLK family are convinced the FBI did the deed and that James Earl Ray was a patsy.

This is a fascinating period of American history—and most establishment historians are pushing agendas that have nothing to do with fact-finding.

If you want facts you are on your own.

See post 36.

There are many parallels with today.

The FBI needs to justify its existence and growth—and when they don’t have real national security threats fake ones work just as well.

The point is that if Thomas looked the other way while his brother fondled with the slaves, that's not going to make him look any better.

It was still wrong even though he didn't do it.

Not trying to make him look good. I am not the fan I used to be. Jefferson was way too much the fan boy of the French Revolution for my tastes. Just trying to be fair and not just pile on because it’s now fashionable.

Anyway, Jefferson was gone from Monticello through most of that time period. Even when he was there, I doubt he kept tabs on his brother. Another candidate is his brother’s son Isham Randolph Jefferson who was known to be there more often then Randolph.
