I have addressed this issue many times in the past. People apparently didn't notice, or didn't take what I said seriously.
Obama was adopted by Lolo Soetoro in 1965, when Soetoro married Stanley Ann. In 1968 (I think) Barry Soetoro (Obama) was sent back to Hawaii to live with his grandparents.
It is very likely Obama was adopted by his grandparents so that they could have legal guardianship over him, since his mother was still living in Indonesia.
When a child is adopted, the original birth certificate is sealed, and the state produces a new one alleging that the adopting parents were the actual parents at the time of birth.
All states routinely forge birth certificates in the case of adoption. Because the original birth certificate is sealed, it takes a court order to unseal it. Obama could get a "certificate of birth" or whatever that thing was he initially showed, but most people weren't buying it.
What he eventually showed as his "original" birth certificate was simply a replacement birth certificate created by the State of Hawaii. They probably used photoshop, but it wasn't done in 1961, it was done in 2012, or whenever Obama released it.
It's a fake, but it is a legal fake, created by the Vital Records Bureaucracy in Hawaii.
