Yeah - we went through some serious blizzards in Rochester too. One year, a bunch of homes on the lake were ruined because of super cold weather and high winds - some had several feet of ice on them from spray freezing as it blew over them.

They are easy to grow. Just cut the top off a pineapple from the store and put the top in a pot with some good soil and it will grow................
