"Fruit Stripe" -- I remember that as the new kid on the block. I grew up with Juicy Fruit, DoubleMint, Chiclets, Beech-Nut, Bazooka Bubblegum, Pepsin, and Black Jack.
Even Wrigley's "Big Red" was new-fangled for me.
This ad was 25 years before I was born...
