Hey man.
This war ain’t gonna start itself.
There’s less than a year remaining to get the vast bulk of US forces irretrievably committed on the other side of the world, unable to quickly respond to domestic ‘events.’
Worryingly This FR THREAD also shows many are fine with Dictator Joe.
Hoe funny is that?
How about we just cancel the 2024 election and make him dictator for life
What is the point in the Congress or elections?
Regardless of what you may call it, the fact remains that it is the international agreement currently in force that governs these matters in international waters.
I have no problem with the U.S. refusing to ratify it. I commend the Republicans in the U.S Senate for taking such a hard line in opposition to it -- for years.
I DO have a problem with the U.S. acting like it has any legitimate reason to enforce provisions of an international agreement that we refuse to accept as authoritative and binding ourselves.
I’m generally an Isolationist, and fiercely Anti- Globalist but if you attack US or our interests, you will pay.
The Legend is 100% on the money.
Wikileaks confirmed that the vast majority of international requests are to protect commercial interests.
It is hilarious reading about illegitimate this and not our business while enjoying the fruit of the might.
Nobody is fine with him. This had to be done. Brandon really hasn’t done anything.
"Thomas Jefferson is officially attacking one of the poorest countries on Earth. It's unconscionable. I want peace. Enough."
Obama runs this Admin
Regardless, it’s absurd...
What is the point in Congress or elections? They can’t just do this you know when they want i.e bombing countries.
At least, that’s never been the norm.
It’s what we do now, what we’ve become. Sometimes we do it through proxies, sometimes directly. But we are now consistently resorting to violence and destruction in an attempt to hold onto the soft imperialism we’ve been exercising over much of the world in the post ww2 era. Why? Sheer economic power, financial leveraging, and diplomatic gravitas are no longer the effective tools they once were because of years of abuse. I really think it’s all over but the shouting, and my fear is we’re going to trigger either a horrible war on an unimaginable scale, or the rest of the world responds to our violent approach by isolating, if not destroying, us.
If we bombed a Country that didn’t attack us I would be unhappy. They attacked Smerican ships.
Is your goal to lose any semblance of being a rational person?
I think you’re reaching your goal.
Mr. RandFan, I used to believe as you do. USA is not the world’s police and we should let others fight their own wars. But after seeing one too many Oct 7 video,
seeing the burned bodies, the bloody cribs, one pali, putting his thumb in a dead Israeli’s eyes (It went squish).
The horror was too much. The line was crossed. You may be dancing in the gray area. After Oct 7, there is no gray. There is good and there is evil. Which side are you on?
God willing, one day we can go back to desiring peace. For now, we all must choose a side. To not choose, is to side with evil. Because Goodness takes an effert.
I'm a conservative American nationalist. If that makes me an "isolationist," then so be it. I'll wear that badge proudly.
#MAGA
Precedent gets set cowboy, that’s the problem.
Even Bush - and im no Bush Lover - came to the United States Congress for Authorization for war in Iraq
What is going on?
You can’t just bomb countries like this. Even Bush knew that.
We should be outraged!
(Some good points from Palmetto State please read)
We have barely countries left in NA. We’re in the end game now.
Strange thing to post, considering your sentiments on this subject are identical to the globalist nonsense I’d expect to hear from John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Nimrata Haley ... and even Hillary Clinton, for that matter.
“I DO have a problem with the U.S. acting like it has any legitimate reason to enforce provisions of an international agreement that we refuse to accept as authoritative and binding ourselves.”
If we are enforcing any provisions of UNCLOS it is only because those provisions meet our interests; it is unlikely we’d enforce any that were not. We do not have to be bound by a treaty to go along with some of that treaty’s provisions.
And I agree with all that, I belive in leaving people alone, but I also belive in “if you spill a drop of American blood, we will spill a gallon of yours.”
I place the interests of my country first. And the interests of my country are not limited to its borders and shores.
Then why not declare and occupy half the planet ?
It’s a ridiculous position and unfeasible.
Something is always going down somewhere.
This is all hype and baloney by the networks and the military industrial complex
