I don’t know about pedophilia and rape, but I think Western sheep ranchers hire shepherds from South America. People here don’t want to do it, not at low wages.

Fifty years ago, Western sheep ranchers hired Basque shepherds. Basques were all over the west from the time the West opened. I'm sure times have changed, though.
