Do you understand the huge swings that 4 or 5 plays can make in a game?

Vince sounds like a jackass. Only rude creeps taunt the fans of another team in a bar.

I disagree. Harbaugh is a creep.

Did Michigan have any plays that didn’t go their way? I would guess there were. Almost this, almost that.

Disclaimer: I didn’t watch the semi-pro, musical chair players ‘college’ championship.

Michigan’s defense won that game. And not just a few plays.

What impressed me the most was how fast Michigan's defensive ends were. They looked like track stars going after Penix,

What is sad is that Michigan has a great team, but the cheating stuff will not go away and there will be repercussions.
I don’t think harbaugh is a creep but he is an odd duck, and the off and on field stuff that happened will taint their victory

I give the players much credit for staying focused and winning

This from an OSU fan

Sadly IMO(lol who else’s can I have), this is the last season of college football, now it will be full blown NFL minor league and what is in it for me.
Portal and NIL, means money rules(I realize it did before but not at the level we will see now), and players looking to cash in will be what matters.

Is there any limit to NIL money and where it comes from?
Is this going to be NY Yankees kind of thing where a rich donor can buy the team he wants.

Scholarship limits were put in place to try and level the playing field. For right or wrong this kind of money injected into college football changes everything

If a kid can get 2 million to play who cares about tuition, some donor will pay that

Will very interesting to see how this plays out, and I feel sorry for all the coaches out there and frankly fans. We can debate if there ever was loyalty to a school or just the idea of raising one’s draft status, but any pretense of this will be gone.
A new day has dawned, and the phrase be careful what you wished for comes to mind

Georgia would have beaten both teams.

The real National Championship game was when Michigan beat Alabama in the semi’s. Harbaugh knew that Washington was going to get steamrolled by his team. You could see it in his demeaner on the sidelines when the team took the field.

Shark face came through. Now on to the NFL.

It's all about the money, in college football today.

Like ALL of sports today, it's all $$$$, and all NWO homage.

I was living in an unincorporated part of Kent when the Don James scandal was big news. Nobody on the coaching staff noticed the QB living in a trailer park who was driving a brand-new very expensive pickup truck. Yeah, sure.

All of college football appears to be dirty. St. James just happened to get caught.

I wonder how Georgia would have done against Michigan?

Georgia beat (then #5) FSU 63-3, in the Orange Bowl!

Georgia had only one loss in the regular season - by 3 points, against Alabama.

I think Georgia was making a statement against FSU - "We belong in the Final Four"

After the game Vaughn was chatting up the Washington fans at the next table and they all seemed to be having a great time. So no, he is not a creep. Sounds like you’ve never been to a sports bar

Penix sucked last night, and the Dawgs got pretty well smacked in the mouth those first 2 drives, but the refs saved the Wolverines. Their O-line was holding all night, especially on the big pass play to the tight end during the 4th quarter and the Defensive backs were holding Huskie receivers all night. Then the refs went flag happy in the 4th against the Huskies and it was downhill from there.

You obviously don’t know the whole story.

The big one was Billy Joe Hoebert got a “loan” against his future pro contract from a donor to buy a Camaro.

All of the other “loss of institutional control” was for minor infractions such as their big offensive tackle gave his recruit $20 to go watch a movie so Lincoln could hang out with his girlfriend, or they got fruit baskets delivered to their rooms during bowl games.

The NCAA was going to slap their wrists, but it was the other 9 member schools of PAC 10 that came down on Washington like a ton of bricks and imposed the death penalty on them because the UW had been stomping their asses for the past several years. When Don James went to the UW President and AD to stop it, they wouldn’t lift a finger, so he abruptly quit.

So FU PAC10/12 and the horwse you rode in on

2 big penalties on right tackle number 73 stopped two drives.

posting just for giggles After a tough loss to stanford, legendary USC coach John Mackay was asked: Coach what do you think about your offense’s execution. Coach MacKay: I think it’s a good idea.

Coachs can be oddballs, Woody hayes punching an Ohio State player, Bobby Knight throwing a chair across the court and more. They are also sports genuises
