It’s called ‘BRICKING the motor’. YOu CANNOT charge an EV if it has been fully discharged (driven til it stops). I guess the idiot didn’t know that.

depends on the car. I have seen (on video) several people driving their Tesla past 0% until it stops. The car keeps a reserve.
