I will say my husband and I noticed paranoid tendencies in our daughter on our last visit. She got a tiny package in the mail and didn’t recognize where it came from. It upset her and she wanted to throw it away. Her hands were actually shaking as she went to put it, unopened, into the trash. My husband remonstrated with her and she opened it to find a small item she had ordered.

We were shocked by her level of fear.

We all went out to dinner and she was the only one wearing a mask. She has a very superior IQ, but there is no reasoning going on there.

Wow. That is intense. At least you could visit with them.

Sounds as though she is living in a state of abject fear.

I’m not into counseling/therapies etc but maybe there should be a niche type of counseling to help people overcome their fear of covid.

I can sort of relate. About a month ago, I went out and found a package on my doorstep. It was in an Amazon Prime mailing bag. I don't have Prime and haven't ordered anything from Amazon in four or five years. I was holding it up by the corner of the package, trying to decide what to do, when my nephew and his son happened to stop by. I made my nephew open it up. 😁

Turns out it was something I'd ordered from eBay and wasn't expecting delivery for another week! I didn't even think about it being that, especially since it was in an Amazon Prime mailer. 🙄
