COLORADO DEMOCRATS PUSH FOR CONTROVERSIAL $3,000 CASH PAYMENTS TO EX-CONS

Excerpt:

Progressive Democrats in the Colorado legislature have proposed a concerning new bill that aims to incentivize crime in the Centennial State. Under this bill, criminals would receive a cash payment of $3,000 upon their release from a Colorado prison. This misguided approach is an attempt to prevent recidivism, but it raises serious questions about the priorities and judgment of the progressive Democrats behind it.

Colorado currently faces a significant challenge in addressing recidivism, with about half of the individuals released from state prisons ending up back behind bars within three years. This high recidivism rate is largely driven by drug-related offenses, as drugs are easily accessible in the state.

Just three years ago, liberal progressive Democrats in Colorado decriminalized the possession of dangerous drugs, allowing possession of less than a gram to be treated as a mere ticket offense. Experts have linked the availability of drugs, including marijuana, to a rise in homelessness, suicides, and recidivism in the state.

The proposed bill, Senate Bill 12, is championed by liberal State Senator James Coleman and three other Democrats. It seeks to allocate up to $3,000 per person upon their release for a one-year period.

Currently, the Colorado Department of Corrections provides $100 on a debit card to individuals upon their release. While the bill is inspired by a program implemented by a New York-based nonprofit, the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO), it is important to note that this program has only been lightly tested in the U.S. in the last few years.

.....If passed, Senate Bill 12 would make Colorado the first state to codify such a program into law. However, it is important to question the effectiveness and sustainability of this approach. While State Senator Coleman argues that the current $100 and a bus ticket provided to released individuals are insufficient, it is questionable whether a large cash payment is the solution. Instead of simply handing out money, the focus should be on providing resources for housing, workforce development, and job opportunities.

If SB24-12 would also create a costly new program that provides cash payments to ex-convicts without adequate accountability measures. It would also increase the size and cost of government and the Department of Corrections by requiring the department to issue a request for proposals from nonprofit groups interested in running the pilot program.

Ultimately, this bill raises serious concerns about the priorities and judgment of the progressive Democrats pushing for its passage.
********

Colorado trying to out California, California. yet they never admit nor address the real problems because they created them. In typical fashion their solution throw money at it, create more government milking the Colorado taxpayers.

Voter Fraud Convictions Challenge Narrative of Secure Elections
Criminal convictions of election fraud across America have called into question the narrative that cheating is rare and of little impact.

Superior Court Judge William Clark nullified the results of a Democrat mayoral primary in November 2023 and ordered a new election. The ruling was based on hours of video evidence showing hundreds of illegally harvested absentee ballots being stuffed into drop boxes in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
“The videos are shocking to the court and should be shocking to all the parties,” Judge Clark wrote in his ruling.

A California judge overturned the result in a 2021 Compton City Council run-off race that was initially decided by one vote. The judge tossed four fraudulent ballots cast by people not legally registered in the jurisdiction. Five people pleaded either guilty or no contest to conspiring to commit election fraud.

After discovering that 66 of the 84 absentee ballots cast in a 2021 Democrat primary for alderman in Aberdeen, Mississippi, were invalid and shouldn't have been counted, a judge ordered a new runoff election. Police arrested a notary for notarizing ballots without watching voters sign them or checking their identification. The court also found evidence of intimidation at the polls involving candidate Nicholas Holliday, Mayor Maurice Howard, and Henry Randal, the town's police chief.

The above examples of election fraud have occurred since the contentious 2020 presidential election that President Donald Trump alleged was marred with fraud.

Elections are so fraudulent in the US you gotta wonder if it will ever end. Some contend that the same circumstances that allowed massive fraud in 2020 still exist in many areas.
In particular are the mail in ballots. They seem to be a major problem.
Evidently, there are so many ways to cheat with mail-ins its hard to imagine. Ballots seem to appear out of nowhere with some names that don't exist, others who are dead, some who have dual residences, as many as 70 all using the same addresss at a four bedroom house and then the mickey mouse and donald duck voters. Seemingly, its endless.
But, it all depends on who handles the ballots and then who certifies them.
If the dems are in charge we lose if not we have a good shot at winning.

Thursday’s Energy Absurdity: The Kerry Climate Hysteria is Apparently Genetic

https://blackmon.substack.com/p/thursdays-energy-absurdity-the-kerry?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=712558&post_id=140799408&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=false&r=qaqqd&utm_medium=email

Excerpt:

Don’t look now, y’all, but if you thought you were about to be rid of the Kerry-generated climate and energy madness, think again: It turns out Lurch has a daughter.

er name is Vanessa Kerry, and I assume she’s a product of the marriage of the former Senator and the Heinz Ketchup lady whose first name I have blessedly forgotten. With dear ol’ Daddy fading from the scene after announcing his resignation from the unelected, unconfirmed role of White House Climate Envoy last week, it looks like he is working to pass the torch to Vanessa now.

I’m sure she’s a perfectly nice person. Well, at least as nice as one of these billionaire elite lizard people can be, anyway. I mean, if you dine regularly with the likes of Klaus Schwab and Bill Gates, most of the niceness is going to be sucked right out of your soul pretty quick.

Anyway, Vanessa Kerry participated in a panel discussion at the WEF $1,000 wine and $2,000 dinner-fest in Davos on Wednesday, and showed clearly she has learned at Daddy’s knee to precisely recite the prevailing narratives of the “climate crisis” without stammering or mispronouncing a single word.

The narrative to be recited on this day is the latest WEF/COP/WHO construct that “the climate crisis is a health crisis.” Because of course it is. If you are part of a globalist movement to implement authoritarian governance over meek, uneducated, censored, and frightened populations all over the world, what better means of getting there by controlling peoples’ health? These ghouls are already well down the road to controlling the energy and food supplies, so controlling health is the obvious third leg of the authoritarian stool, as it were.

Right on cue, Ms. Kerry states toward the end of her comments that, even though the world’s meteorological community cannot accurately predict temperatures 2 days in advance, she knows precisely that the globe is on a fast path to a temperature rise over the next 76 years of exactly 2.4 degrees [checks notes] Celsius! Then she adds the inevitable kicker that the cure to this global fever is not more cowbell, but to “transition away from fossil fuels,” because, you know, your SUV and gas stove are the cause of all of this horror!

It’s in the Kerry genes, folks. There is no other explanation.

Here, lovingly curated by yours truly, is a transcript of Ms. Kerry’s remarks:

I cannot think of a topic more urgent, actually, than the intersection of climate change and health. And I apologize that my back is to some folks.

Um, the climate crisis is a health crisis, fundamentally, and that actually means it is a crisis, therefore, also of our stability, our security, our economic growth, and our fundamental future as a globe. When we think about it, health. It’s fundamental to everything that we are trying to do.

One country, like Zambia, is now shutting down its schools because of a cholera outbreak that is from increased rainfall in in malaria is spreading in areas where it’s been eradicated or removed. In many of these countries we are losing progress against our sustainable development goals. We have put billions of dollars towards those goals and we’re truly losing progress.

We’re now about to see the statistics of the deaths that we’re seeing by 2050 is more than double what the statistics used to be. This is not a future problem, though. We always talk in future numbers. This is a problem happening here and now today.

2023 was an apocalyptic year in terms of extreme weather events. And what we’ve seen happen that is about to get worse.

We are on the target now for 2.4°C. They optimistically to come out of COP and we hold it. We could stay a little bit lower, but we’re really at a crisis and it’s going to come down to two things:

We have to phase out fossil fuels because this is a crisis of burning fossil fuels.

And we have to mobilize more money not only to the mitigation, but to the adaptation and the resilience, so that we can offset what is happening and protect communities.

[End]

So, there you have it. Just when we thought the Kerry brand of climate madness was going away soon, we now discover we must hunker down for another 30-40 years of this abject crap.

Don’t shoot me, I’m just the messenger.

That is all.
