The way Leftists work is that there are “Good Nazis” and “Bad Nazis”, and if the Nazis are helping their agenda (Globohomo, Climate Change, Socialism, etc.), then they’re “Good Nazis”, and they’ll tell us that everything we’ve read about them, in WESTERN MEDIA, is lies. And don’t forget, Hitler only became Bad Nazi when he invaded Russia - prior to that, the Left LOVED HIM. Other Bad Nazis for the Left include Trump and his supporters.
Ukraine, of course, is filled with Good Nazis, at least as far as the Ukraine Cheerleaders are concerned.
But it won’t matter - Russia will neutralize them before ending their military operation.

I think the de-Nazification claim was for Russian and Eastern UKR consumption. It is pretty obvious the real reason for the war is NATO’s incessant push to get into Ukraine.
Though a review of NATOs actions versus their statements seems to indicate that NATO was not going to allow UKR into NATO anytime in the near future. They know how corrupt and broken the UKR government is. But they knew (because Putin told them) that their continued efforts would lead to war.
NATO is using UKR to weaken RU and hoped the war would lead to regime change in RU. The lives of UKR’s don’t matter a wink to NATO. Bonus points because EU has weakened itself and become more dependent on the US.
Now that they have a hold of the Tiger’s tail NATO is trying to find an exit strategy.
Since you guys are so fixated on Ukrainian “Nazis” and Putin’s stated goal of removing them as one of the reasons for his 2022 re-invasion of Ukraine, below is a report by Fact Check you might find interesting. It kind of puts the “de-nazification” claim in perspective.
