More Republicans say former President Trump is a person of faith than several other Republican figures, his GOP primary challengers and President Biden, a new poll found.
In the survey, conducted by HarrisX for Deseret News, 64 percent of Republicans said Trump was a person of faith, up from 53 percent in October.
Former Vice President Mike Pence, an evangelical Christian, came in second with Republicans, with 56 percent calling him a man of faith.
GOP respondents were less likely to say Trump is “religious” and pointed to his “support for religious people, not his personal religiosity, as their reasoning for saying he is a man of faith,” according to the Deseret News. …

I support Trump 100%, but I do not believe he is a person of faith, that is ridiculous, but I DO know that he SUPPORTS and chooses to represent people of faith while most of the GOP only pretends to secure nominations.
I’ve heard this from Christians in my family and it surprises me honestly.
I don’t know if Trump is a believer or not. That’s between he and God. I do know he works hard to make sure our rights to religion are protected. That’s what I want from him.
Perhaps he can influence Ivanka and expose her to Christ.

No one can know what the relationship between Trump and God truly is, but we should pray for him, as he does not exhibit many, if any, of the modest and selfless traits of Christ, at least not publicly.

God and Jesus govt get very confrontational with those that needed it.
Jesus is a warrior and you DON’T want to see that side of him. God must be just. He is merciful at his discretion.
Trump is person of faith than GOP challengers.
He shows it in many ways MAGA isn’t for his own use it’s for all to retain liberty and the fight against socialism Marxism and communism.
Many world leader respect him and fear him for what he will do to protect it.
Trump is a weak Christian.
Compared to what? 2015? 2016? 2017? 2018? 2019? 2020? 2021? 2022? 2023?
