No Taxation without Representation has now become
No Subsidization without Representation
Just Wow!
Hmmm...
Considering the pathetically educationally-incompetent schools in Maryland, it doesn’t hurt the schools, K-college, (currently run by ardent communists) to let M-13 or the rest of the migrant-invader vermin have a seat on the school boards...
Maryland schools are merely political meeting locations where actual education has long since been replaced with communist indoctrination...

This country really needs to bring back flogging as a legal punishment for people like the Howard County officials who are tried and convicted of committing such heinous actions.
It's instructional to know that the German middle class initially accepted Hitler because they were FED UP with the Communist agitators sent from Moscow.
And what did those Communists call themselves? Antifa!
Those who don't study history are doomed to repeat it.
We who DO study history are doomed to stand by watching helplessly while everyone else repeats it. *sigh*
Almost sounds like voter suppression or something.
I would make 3 observations over this story/trend:
1. From Hagerstown east (2/3’s of the state)...it’s like some 3rd-world country where about 70-percent of people can’t read beyond the 5th grade level or do basic math.
2. At some point, the black community will awaken to realize that both state and federal funding within Maryland...is filtering through some MS-13 gang ‘party’.
3. Logic would dictate that the language requirements have to be modified in some way...to force the teaching establishment to only speak Spanish, and create a state shortage of instructors.
and it’s not up for a vote? feh...
The one judge was asking a hypothetical about a seat that only illegals immigrants could vote on.
I don’t know if Maryland school boards set the tax levy and approve tax warrants. If they do, I believe that may be an Equal Protection issue when only certain classes of people would be allowed to vote for candidates for a specific seat.
If that student member is voting on anything that binds the school legally or votes to approve a schedule of claims (i.e. AP checks, etc), than I think the same thing holds - a possible Equal Protection issue because only a certain class of person can vote for that Board seat.
Seriously. That headline’s doing a lot of work trying to carry that article. And woe to the posters who commented without reading the article. The headline’s little short of clickbait
democracy always ends when the sheeple realize they can vote themselves more riches....
Yeah, just an awful headline.
I’ve no problem with student Board Members that sit in an advisory capacity. But it seems to me that the school district is playing with fire by having seats that are not subject to election by the whole of voters, especially if such Board seats can vote for any motion that binds the school district legally.
Excellent points!

The state that passed the “Rain Tax”...
I say No Representation Without Taxation!
End the madness.
Beautiful old Hagerstown itself was targeted as far back as the O'Malley administration to receive big ol' Obama helpings of muslims. Now it has a mosque, and most of the doctors in the big Meritus hospital reportedly are middle eastern adherents.
“This country really needs to bring back flogging”
I was saying that to my wife the other day.
