ONE of the top stars in men cycling is at the centre of a police investigation after the tragic circumstances surrounding the death of his wife.
Former cycling world champion Rohan Dennis, who recently announced his retirement from the sport has been charged with the manslaughter of his wife, Olympian Melissa Hoskins.
On the evening of December 30, near their home in Medindie, Adelaide, Hoskins suffered severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle.

The article is not clear about the details. In the alternative, the husband was just trying to leave in his vehicle when his hysterical wife latched onto the door as he was leaving. As a consequence of her not letting the vehicle go, she got run over by the rear moving wheels.

If that is the fact of the matter then no attorney, judge or jury should ignore it.
Husband would have to prove he had no knowledge she was on the car, and since he has been charged with her death, I doubt that is the case.
I would likely get stricken as I am an attorney.
