2. Regardless of who the Democrat nominee will be, this birth certificate issue is a flat-out election loser, now matter how true it is (and I believe it is true).
In the old days (before primaries) someone like Biden would definitely be out. The party bosses would see to that.
But now there are primaries. And since Biden has no real opposition there, he will have way more than enough delegates to clinch the 2024 nomination.
So what can the party bosses do? Change the rules at the last minute? Offer Biden a substantial bribe to step aside? Threaten Biden if he doesn’t step aside? It will be interesting to see how this plays out, although we’ll probably never know the details.
