On the night of December 31, 2023, the Russian occupiers attacked with “Shahed” type UAVs from three directions: Cape Chauda (Crimea), the Primorsko-Akhtar region and the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
This was reported in the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
“A total of 49 enemy “Shahed-136/131” drones were recorded. Also, the enemy struck the city of Kharkiv with six S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles,” the message says.
The enemy directed most of the attack drones at the front line of defense, as well as at civilian, military, and infrastructure facilities in the front-line territories, in particular in the Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
In different regions of Ukraine, units of mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces, fighter aircraft, and anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force destroyed 21 enemy “Shahed”.
