The US does half the medical innovations in the world. The rest of the world does the other half, but they usually rely upon work the US did to get their innovations.

A lot of the indian and Chinese graduates are recent. This wasn't the case 30 years ago. The US graduates are on average better than those from China or India. (how long that lasts with Woke poisoning STEM..., who knows).

But we have to deal with the reality we have, not the nostalgia we wish we still had.
