SAN ANTONIO — As the Migrant Resource Center continues to operate at capacity and families are sleeping on the cold streets, one San Antonio man has opened his doors to migrants in need.
Santiago Rodriguez is a husband and father of three whose humanitarian mission began when he noticed the harsh conditions migrants were enduring at night along San Pedro Avenue.

If it wasn't so infuriating this subhead from the article would be funny.
On one hand you can admire him for putting his twisted principles into action.
On the other I hope he’s prepared to have wis wife and children abused, his stuff stolen and his home destroyed.
So what’s Ken’s 5’s point in publishing this piece?

I’m wondering if aiding illegal aliens is even legal.
I guess Mr. Rodriguez is a humanitarian. But he is quite naive if he thinks his home will just be a temporary shelter. The illegals will move in easily. But they will leave not so easily.
I would ask Mr. Rodriguez to consider the source of the problem. It’s like a ship that is flooding. Job one must be to patch the hole. Don’t do that, and it doesn’t matter how many mops you have on board.

A friend of mine; his activist teenage daughter married a Hispanic illegal in a quiet civil ceremony a few years ago, gaining him residency paperwork while he lived in their basement. Their quiet civil paperwork divorce happened later, after enough plausible time had passed. He then moved on. They are Catholics and I wonder what the Churches position is on these maneuvering, these days? Prob encouraging it with the current Pope.
