Star Wars has been condemned for white supremecy & colonialism because, while there are aliens of many species in the bar, almost everyone in positions of power on both sides -- the Emperor, his storm troops, Princess Leia, her rebels -- are human, and mostly white humans at that.
Although Han Solo has hired Chewbaca, the latter is clearly a sidekick, and his "people" are absent in any decision making positions throughout both imperial and rebel communities.
