Was it not Gor that was the epitome of sexual hygenics and male testosterone back in the 70s and 80s?
Publishers hire "sensitivity readers" to enforce political correctness.
Does this mean that black people are finally going to be allowed to write science fiction?
Or that black people will now be allowed to read science fiction?
"BLACK RAGE!"
The original series of Star Trek would not have been quite as successful if they had a scene of Kirk making out with a Horta.
Can we get a reset on this planet?

The best video adaption of HHGG
I think I will watch it again and Not Panic
Doctor Who, UFO, Space 1999, Red Dwarf. Only seen a clips from most of them. I especially don't get Doctor Who (though I've never seen a complete episode).
The Brits are better at TV horror & suspense, like Thrillers.
Just saying.
Who died and put these lunatics in charge of Sc-Fi writers?
The correct response is to laugh in their faces and flip them the bird on your way out the door.

I’ll stick with the many, many works of the late, great Ray Bradbury over today’s woke sci-fi crap.

> Who died and put these lunatics in charge of Sc-Fi writers?
Heinlein, Clarke, Asimov, Hal Clement, Greg Bear, Fred Saberhagen, Poul Anderson, Gordon Dickson — Joe Haldeman is still alive but was looking pretty sickly the last time I met him. David Drake died about two weeks ago. There are a lot more great dead SF writers than good living ones, I’m sorry to say.
> are they the Hugo people?
Yep. Which is why the Hugo is a joke award now. Check out the Dragon Awards. There’s still some hope for those.
> The SFWA is a trade organization for sci-fi writers.
Was. They gave up their claim to being that when they dropped the requirement that prospective members have a minimum number of professionally published works before they could join.
> > Who died and put these lunatics in charge of Sc-Fi writers?
Fred Pohl, Damon Knight, Jack Williamson, Gene Wolfe, Jerry Pournelle, Ben Bova — I miss Ben and Jerry, and I don’t mean the ice cream. The current president of SFWA is one Jeffe Kennedy, “a fantasy and erotic romance author.”
Science fiction is now woke? Guess that means I can avoid it.
