We *all* know that the DC jury will convict DJT on all charges and that The Big Guy's Department of Just Us will make sure that that happens by next July. Those convictions will obviously carry sentences of 10+ years.

So the Rat Party's ads in the fall will be "See,we were right all along.Trump will be serving 10 years in Federal prison".

And SCOTUS will be in NO HURRY to rule while Trump sits in jail. The same SCOTUS that has sat back while people guilty of at worst trespassing are languishing for years in a DC dungeon with sadistic, democrat warders. Same SCOTUS that has sat back and refused to expedite any of Trump's election challenges in GA where election workers swore on deposition that stacks and stacks of mail-in ballots were pre-printed for Biden and had no creases as would be expected if they had been mailed in an envelope. Same SCOTUS who will most likely allow Kari Lake's election challenges on signature verification to be delayed until after 2024.
