Create bills that allow a black mark on a person’s credit record/FICO score for 8 years Also suspend all government programs for the person (other than food stamps) - for 18 months - and the problem will be solved.
I disagree. Do you really think that someone who is going to break into a house then trash and destroy it cares about their credit record/FICO score? Half of them probably don't know what a FICO score is.
Why continue to give them food stamps? If they are able-bodied enough to break into a house they are able bodied enough to work. Work=paycheck=groceries.
If someone chooses to be a "squatter" they should go to jail. Coddling of criminal behavior is a large part of the problem.
