I've never understood the frenzie when lotteries get really high......wouldn't a few million be more than enough for most people? I mean how much does a person really need? 🤷

I know one thing, if you play in Florida you won’t win unless you buy your tickets at a Publix supermarket.
The frequency in which that has occurred is too common to be ignored.

Because in about 10 years a few million will be worth about the same as a 50,000 now.
Thanks to Joe and the money printing machines.

“the mathematically challenged...”
Judging from some of the folks I see standing in line to buy tickets I’d say there’s a whole lot of mathematically challenged around.

The guy that won the $2 billion prize, $600 million after taxes and upfront, has already gone through at least 1/6 of his net worth.

When I worked in a convenience store, I had a renowned professor of economics buy a ticket. I told him, beyond anybody, he should know better.
He laughed.

2 houses that I know of. He bought a California home for $25 million. Then he bought a New York apartment for $4 million.
I know he bought a bunch of classic cars. i don’t know what else he bought, but apparently he spent about $100 million within a year of winning.
Also, his security team is probably not cheap.
