I would say that precious few people make it in this world honestly and with integrity.
Yes, Joe Jr. was the best looking of the male kids.
The father was unattractive. The 4 boys went from handsome to homely in their order of birth.
Scrambling Rose’s brain was an early illustration of ‘follow the science’ that turned out, um, not so good.
"According to him, he was a hero"
Promised them air cover then reneged. They got massacred.
This says “the prisoners were released in exchange for $53,000,000 worth of food and medicine.”
But I remember the US then had to give Castro 500 “tractors” actually bulldozers to get those prisoners back. I remember it well!
Why is this author trying to whitewash the Kennedys at this late date?
(I’m a WASP who was born in Boston. Don’t let me get started on what the Kennedys did to my home city and state. They arrived here wanting revenge against the English for Cromwell, and they took it out on us.)
I'd agree, which is why LBJ had to get rid of them.
I remember those spoof VW magazine adds back in the 1980s.
Perfect.
“John put a man on the moon, but Teddy couldn’t get a woman across a bridge.”
That’s gonna leave a mark!
“...Kennedy’s Immigration Reform Act of 1965.”
Yep.
That’s gonna leave a mark!
And the law firm that represented Teddy in the aftermath:
Weiner, Diner, Dickher, and Duncker.
wow! ouch.
LOL, that’s hilarious!
Didn’t shoot enough of them.
The Hart-Cellar Bill. A bipartisan effort.
Kennedy wrote the bill.
No. Ted wrote the bill.
Joe jr. died in WWII on a secret mission. He was actually on the crew of a plane packed full of explosives and under radio control by a chase plane. The RC of the day couldn’t handle take off so the crews mission was to get it airborne and at altitude snd then bail out. There was an accidental detonation and all the crew were killed.
The floating beetle with the caption “If Ted Kennedy drove a Volkswagen, he’d be president today.”
That’s a good one!
