It’s likely that Putin wouldn’t have invaded Ukraine if Trump is still our President today. But he would have just decided to wait until 2025 in the alternate timeline where Gavin Newsom becomes President. Putin was waiting for an opportunity to invade Ukraine. And knowing our politics, it was only a matter of time before we’ll get a Democratic POTUS.
