36-year-old ship.

How old were the Russian sailors, workmen, or other personnel onboard it at the time it was blown sky-high?

Regards,

“36 year old ship.”

Are you suggesting its age renders it obsolete?

Well, the Nimitz is 48 years old, and the Eisenhower is 46 years old. Both are still very much active, and fulfilling their missions.
