I haven’t been to Uzbekistan, but never knew or heard of Muslims who did not “secretly” commit all the vices supposedly denied to them.
My study partner in Yeshiva was from Tashkent. He spoke Russian, Buchara, and some Uzbek. He taught me a few phrases. Sounds like a camel in a bad mood. But he never said anything about closet drinking, just the usual murder of “infidels,” some of whom were in his family. If an Uzbek is looking daggers at your and strokes his beard, he is swearing “by the beard of the Prophet” to end you. So haul a@@.
