That guy must be “Somebody,” as he got the video taken down.

When I was flying, I witnessed the most absurd meltdown with a guy and a gate agent in Denver. This was back when they had cardstock boarding passes and if you made a change to your seat or flight, the agent would tear the old boarding pass in two and drop it into a bin under the counter.

I didn’t overhear the original controversy, but it escalated into the passenger screaming that he wanted his old seat assignment and boarding pass, which the agent would not do because the ticket had been cancelled. The flight was already boarded and gate closed and the agent was closing out the terminal with this guy still screaming in his face. As he locked up the desk, he took out the bin (they always took those bins with them for some reason) and the guy launched at him and tried to take the bin from him. A tug of war ensued (the gate agent was unbelievably composed. “I’m sorry sir, I can’t allow you to have this… “), until finally the agent let go and the guy fell on his keister with ticket stubs raining down all over the floor. We (the crew waiting for our plane to arrive) sat there with ours mouths dropped open. The agent took the empty bin, shrugged, and walked off while the guy sat there sifting through all those ticket stubs on the floor.
